We rely on 7th tradition contributions to pay for interpreting services. We appreciate contributions large or small. Some groups and districts send a monthly donation according to group conscience. We appreciate regular contributions as they help us maintain a stable budget. It is hard for an individual Deaf person or one AA group to support the financial responsibility of interpreted meetings. We believe we are a fellowship of equals and that it is all of AA’s spiritual responsibility to help carry the message.

We are the AA Deaf Intergroup of Central Texas and we operate in accordance with AA’s Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts. We exist to aid AA groups in their common purpose of carrying the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers by increasing accessibility to AA meetings for Deaf people in recovery.

When we are generous with the hat, we give a token that we are grateful for our blessings and evidence that we are eager to share what we have found with all who still suffer.
